Community Schools are proven models that create safe and stable environments for students and their families.  They follow a proven model that makes the school the center of the community and responsive to the unique needs of its residents.  Often this means a Community School will partner with organizations in the community and ask them to bring their services to the school - health services, food pantry, clothing closet, etc.
